MEET THE PANELISTS FROM MOSS ADAMS:

 

Todd Kooiman:

Todd has been in public accounting since 1995, with a focus on providing his clients with strategic tax planning solutions at the federal, state, local, and multistate level as well as business owner succession services.

In addition to leading the tax and Manufacturing & Consumer Products Practices in the firm’s Bellingham, Washington, office, he’s a member of the firm-wide Manufacturing & Consumer Products Practice’s Executive Committee and participates in tax quality control inspections of the firm’s other offices.

Michelle VanDellen:

Michelle has practiced public accounting since 1993. She is one of the firm’s dairy specialists and advises business and individual clients. She has extensive experience providing tax and business solutions for clients in agriculture-related industries, including those involved in growing, storing, packing, selling, and processing. Michelle owns a family dairy farm in Washington and is a member of the Washington State Dairy Federation and Washington Farm Bureau.

Shane Griffiths

Shane has practiced public accounting since 2011. He primarily assists public and privately held clients with state and local tax matters—audits, refund requests, tax planning and structuring, and letter rulings—and provides insight on multistate income and franchise tax. His expertise also includes sales and use tax matters, including nexus, taxability analysis, voluntary disclosure, and pass-through issues such as withholding and composite filing. He primarily works with clients in the software and technology, aerospace, manufacturing and distribution, and retail industries.
