Because of generous people like you, we are able to offer a “hand-up” shopping experience for Whatcom Dream’s hardworking families at Christmas time. At the event families will first enjoy dinner, then pick out and purchase brand new gifts for their children at 75% off retail!

The event will take place in early December at Northlake Community Church in Bellingham.

All gifts must be delivered unwrapped by 4pm on Dec 4th to the WBA office at 2423 E Bakerview Rd.

Below is a suggested list if you need ideas for age-appropriate donations.

For children (ages 2-12):

• Lego or Erector sets
• Dolls or action figures
• Train sets
• Science kits, Chemistry sets
• Dress up & costume clothes
• Books
• Kid-sized sleeping bags
• Arts, craft or beading kits
• Balls, bikes, scooters & sports equipment
• Games for family to play together

 

For teens (ages 13-18):

We suggest gift cards for teens, which allows parents to purchase a unique item for their child at the store.

Fred Meyer, Old Navy, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Yeagers, H&M and Target are a few of our favorite picks. Each gift card will be sold at 75% off the original purchase price.
